Confirm you’re inside the client’s geofence and clock-in. If you’re outside the verified location, you can leave a note for the office to follow up.
Review Care Plan
Orient yourself to client needs, preferences, risks, daily routine, toileting preferences and any special instructions.
Document Tasks
Mark care tasks as complete, declined or not needed. You can add notes and flag changes in condition to notify the office.
Chat for Support
If you have a question or a problem occurs during your visit, send a HIPAA-compliant message to the office staff for support, or call the office directly.

Confirm you’re inside the client’s geofence and clock-out. If you’re outside the verified location, you can leave a note for the office to follow up.
Record Additional Information
Document travel time, unpaid breaks, billable miles and reimbursements such as personal miles.
Summarize Client Condition
Leave a care summary and record the client’s mood, pain level, and continence to help the office understand the client’s current condtion.
Collect Client Signature
To end your shift, ask the client to review the shift information and sign with their finger on your phone. If they are sleeping or disabled, you can select, “unable to sign”.

Post Shift

Submit Edits
Review the information you submitted to the office. If you made a mistake, simply submit edits to be approved.
Respond to Correction Requests
The office may request corrections or additional information for a completed shift. Tap the notification and respond to the office’s request.
View Projected Pay
If the agency you work for uses Careswitch for payroll, you can view hours worked, hours scheduled, and your estimated upcoming paycheck broken down by client.
